If you find yourself in Metsovo during the first weekend of June you will have the opportunity to attend the "Gathering of the Vlachs" events, organized by the Panhellenic Union of Vlach Cultural Associations, which includes speeches, lectures and a large Vlachs feast.

On July 20, the "Feast of the Prophet Elijah" which is very close to the chapel of Prophet Elias, at an altitude of 1400 m, is celebrated by residents and visitors of Metsovo with songs and dances.

On July 26, in honour of Santa Paraskevi, the procession of the holy image (litany) on the day on 26 July is followed by a large number of women dressed in traditional Metsovian costumes forming a circle and dancing in the courtyard of the church singing songs in the Vlach dialect.

The last weekend of July the so-called "Pichteios Walk" which includes overnight stay in Mount Mavrovouni shelter at an altitude of 2000 m, with dances, songs and large pyres. On Sunday morning, the walk lasts for three hours until the hikers reach the "Ears of Flegga" spot to enjoy the amazing sunsets with the National Park Valia Calda in the background.

On August 15th the local municipality organizes dances with folk songs at the central square of Metsovo, with free participation for residents and visitors.

On 24-26 July, in the municipal district of Anilio, the events "Aniliotika" take place on the occasion of the celebrating church of Agia Paraskevi. Manifestations include long evening feasts with folk music bands and a traditional dance presentation program from the dance club of the village. In addition, on July 25, the "Night of the Cattlers" is organized, including presentation and awarding of the best animals of the village.

On March 25, in Votonosi municipal district the sanctioned events for the National Day are followed by a public traditional feast with wine supply and cod in the churchyard.

On August 6, in the same municipal district the Feast of the Redeemer takes place which includes a procession of the image and a feast with folk bands in the courtyard of the church.

On July 20, in the municipal district of Anthochori they organize the Feast of the Prophet Elijah involving carousal and heavy eating.

On 25-27 July, in the same municipal district three days of events are conducted on the occasion of the celebrating church of Agia Paraskevi, including a cultural evening and a feast with traditional and other bands.
